Unknot Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to Unknot, a general wellness app for people age 13 and older. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in compliance with applicable law.
What Unknot provides
Unknot provides short stretching and mobility routines, timers, optional reminders, local progress tracking, and a posture review. The app is designed for general wellness and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or injury assessment.
Subscriptions
Premium access is available through two paid auto-renewing subscriptions. The U.S. options are US$9.99 per week or US$59.99 per year. Prices and currency vary by storefront; the applicable local price and billing period are shown before you confirm a purchase. Payment starts immediately. There is no free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically through the Apple App Store or Google Play until canceled. Manage or cancel a subscription from the store account used for purchase before the current billing period ends. Refunds, when available, are handled under the applicable store's policies.
Apple App Store and Google Play handle checkout, payment, renewal, and cancellation. RevenueCat verifies purchases and manages subscription access. Purchases can be restored on a compatible device using the same account in the store where you purchased; Unknot does not require a named account.
Posture review
The current setup requires one front and one side photo. You can take them with the camera or choose them from your library. With an active subscription, the photos are analyzed locally using Apple Vision on iPhone and iPad or MediaPipe on Android. The photos are not uploaded for posture analysis.
Posture scores and recommendations are repeatable progress signals, not medical advice or a diagnosis. Stop any movement that causes concerning symptoms and consult a qualified professional about injuries, medical conditions, or concerns.
Local data and permissions
The app does not require an account. Setup, custom routines, session history, reminders, posture results, and app-owned photo copies are stored locally on your device. Reminders are optional. Camera access is needed only to take photos; library photos are an alternative. Setup cannot continue without the two photos. Use Delete scan photos and results to remove scan data, or Delete local data in Settings to reset your profile, routines, sessions and posture data and cancel reminders. The appearance preference is retained. These actions do not cancel your subscription or remove store purchase records. See the Privacy Policy for details about local data and store providers.

The app and these terms may change over time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
