Unknot Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to Unknot, a general wellness app for people age 13 and older. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in compliance with applicable law.

What Unknot provides

Unknot provides short stretching and mobility routines, timers, optional reminders, local progress tracking, and an optional posture review. The app is designed for general wellness and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or injury assessment.

Subscriptions

Premium access is available through two paid auto-renewing subscriptions. The current options are shown in the app before purchase. Payment starts immediately. There is no free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically through the Apple App Store or Google Play until canceled. Manage or cancel a subscription from the store account used for purchase before the current billing period ends. Refunds, when available, are handled under the applicable store's policies.

Apple App Store and Google Play handle checkout, payment, renewal, and cancellation. RevenueCat manages the app's unknot_pro entitlement. Purchases can be restored on another device using the same store account; Unknot does not require a named account.

Posture review

You choose whether to provide one front and one side photo. On iPhone, Apple Vision analyzes those photos locally on the device, including the optional free onboarding scan. Later scan access is shown in the app. The photos are not uploaded for posture analysis. Automated posture analysis is not currently offered in the Android app.

Posture scores and recommendations are repeatable progress signals, not medical advice or a diagnosis. Stop any movement that causes concerning symptoms and consult a qualified professional about injuries, medical conditions, or concerns.

Local data and permissions

The app does not require an account. Setup, custom routines, session history, reminders, posture results, and app-owned photo copies are stored locally on your device. You can deny camera, photo library, or notification permissions and continue using the rest of the app. Use Delete scan photos and results to remove scan data, or Delete local data in Settings to clear local app data and reminders.
